April 2015 DL Snyder
We were hoping for a live launch of the new web site and store early April. Due to some delays in materials and a couple of product tweaks we finally got there on April 22. It still needs a lot of work and filling in some info on new products. But here we are.
We're heading to the Nashville Flea Market on the Fairgrounds there April 24-26... we're in the Vaughn Building each day from 8AM to 6PM. They have over 800 vendor/booths there each month year-round. I plan to attend the Bellevue Baptist Church early service Sunday morning just south of Nashville.
I will unveil a new display to help folks who see our products as they stroll by understand what they are and what they do more quickly.
Some people think I'm selling phones or phone cases. Nope. Just mounts.
The new display is an actual dashboard from a 2005 Chevy Colorado pickup. I got it at a local salvage yard. I cut off the passenger section, leaving only the driver instrument panel, steering wheel, and center console. I will display and demo the Bridge MagMount and the SideKick Everywhere Mount exactly how they are installed and used on an actual dashboard in any typical vehicle. It should be worth a thousand words in saving time describing what our unique mounts do and how they work. People have never seen mounts like these before, so it's understandable they have a hard time figuring them out at first.
We will also be launching a few select products on Ebay sometime next month, and hopefully on Amazon by the end of summer.
The site looks about how I had hoped, but needs much more info and videos plugged in as time goes on. But it appears the store works. We're ready for business.
next month: pics and feedback from our crazy travelling display. We hope to have pics and progress complete on our very interesting PowerOn 12,000 mAh mobile charger mounts designed and developed here in Jackson.
March 2015 DL Snyder
After over a year of tweaking, development, redevelopment, and more tweaking, we launch MobileMount Solutions Inc in earnest the first week of April 2015 to an unsuspecting public. Really it has been over 3 years in the making. Beginning in Ohio with the Bridge Tablet Mount effort, we have moved to TN and morphed that initial meager project into a slew of new and more mature products, incorporating into a company, from a hobby in the garage. The focus is on simplicity with high performance. And a heavy dose of attention to user experience. We hope people will be very happy with our stuff.
It's not magic, it's magnetics, we like to say. If we have an in-house eco-system, it is our combining of high performance neodymium magnets with our proprietary MicroFlex technology to fiercely secure, support, and leverage those devices and squeeze all the digital value we can from those hand-sized super computers we call smartphones and tablets. There is just something very compelling about slapping a mobile device on a magmount in one second and for it to stay there, and be there until you grab it and go. One less thing to worry about. No sticky stuff, no clamps or clutter, no problem, just simple magnetic force to suspend that device exactly where (an how) you want it and use it hands free when you want. Tap it, check it, charge it, view it, hear it, hands free, hassle free. And likewise in the car, at the shop, beside the bed, in the bed, on the couch, on the floor, wherever, no hands.
So, to little or no fanfare we launch this enterprise nationally and internationally the first week in April 2015. That is , if the tweaking is done. Oh, that'ts right, tweaking is never done is it?
Next month the launch.

MobileMount Solutions on Car Safety and Distracted Driving:
We urge all drivers to obey the laws of their state or community as to using any device in-car. The Bridge MagMount system is the only car mount we know of with the design and option to securely place a mobile device within inches of the steering wheel while leaving windshield and interior instrumentation 100% clear.
We urge drivers NEVER to text or read texts while driving. We do support safe smartphone use where appropriate for navigation, music, and voice communication. Our solution may be safer than built-in LCDs since we put the screen AT the steering wheel for a head-up view of the road rather than further away and down in the console.
All the major car makers have fervent efforts underway to incorporate, partner with and leverage those devices we all carry with us everyday. We will explore that more in depth in future posts. Suffice to say, our mounts are already doing that at thousands of dollar$ per car cheaper than they.
In the mean time, what about safety?
The Bridge MagMount designs uniquely provide:
100% clear windshield, 100% hands on the wheel, and 100% head-up, eye's up, and eyes on the road ahead.
Occasional glancing at or interaction with the Bridge mounted device with proper driver software is not unlike glancing at a driver instrument cluster or interacting hands free with any other typical in-car instrumentation.
Our Bridge MagMount solution does not interfere or depend on common in-car dashboard features like vents, glass surface, mirrors, cup-holders, CD players or electrical sockets.
The truth is, any instrument gauge, screen, dial, knob, button, or other driver convenience built in by the factory can be a distraction for any driver. Any added devices should be used with care, always keeping eyes on road ahead.
With the Bridge"precision positioning" we largely eliminate the need for the driver to lean forward from normal driving posture to see or interact with the screen comfortably. The Bridge eliminates squinting at or adjusting or managing a far-away device, or one mounted too low, or up too high.
Even if not used actively while driving, our mounts provide a convenient way to secure and reach phone at all times while in car, or when needed. This avoids hunting around for a phone sliding around somewhere in the interior or buried in pocket or purse.
The hands-free finger tip-touch or voice or gesture options (depending on smartphone software and capabilities) with our solutions, can provide for a driver-determined safe level of smartphone usage when used like other typical driver instruments and proper mobile software.
Coupled with appropriate driving habits, head up and eyes kept toward the road while driving, MobileMount Solutions can help provide a convenient and safer use experience.
